Presets aren't working

I can see my presets in Lightroom Classic and when I huver over them it shows on the picture, but as soon as my mouse moves off the preset, the preset does not stay on the photo. How do I fix this?

Hovering over a preset shows you a preview of how the image would look if you applied that preset. Moving off the preset without applying it restores the image back to how it was. To apply the preset, simply click on it.
