P: Hovering over a preset previews it but clicking on it doesn't apply it

To date, there have been over a dozen reports of the following: When the user hovers the mouse over a preset in the Presets panel, the preset is correctly previewed in both the Navigator and Loupe (main) views. But when the user clicks on the preset to apply it, it doesn't get applied to the photo, and moving the mouse away restores the photo's previous appearance.


For most of these reports, resetting preferences fixes the problem.

    Do you mean that when you click on a preset in the Presets panel, no change is made to the main image?  If that's what's happening, then try resetting LR's preferences:

    Hello everyone, I need some advice and I don't know where to start, I've tried everything and I just don't know what to do anymore, I've bought presets (I won't give the link here, I don't know if it's allowed but I'll add it if it's OK), the presets appear normally in my lr but as soon as I want to apply them to the photo nothing happens, is there any kind soul here who can advise me? 🙂 thanks in advance for your help and have a nice day

    When you hover the mouse pointer over a preset in the Presets panel, do you see the effect of the preset temporarily appear on the main image?  And then when you click on the preset, nothing happens?

    bonjour, je suis sur mac, lightroom classic version 12,5 et depuis aujourdhui les presets ne s'appliquent plus sur mes photos, quelqu'un a t il une solution merci d'avance

    oui c'est exactement cela, quand on passe la souris l'effet aparait sur la photo, mais quand on veut l'appliquer, ça ne fonctionne pas

    Ich kann die lightroom presets nicht angewenden.

     

    Die Presets werden als Vorschau angezeigt. Wenn ich aber auf ein Preset drauf klicke werden die Einstellungen nicht auf das Bild übertragen. Es passiert nichts.

     

    Habe die Aktuelle Verion von Lightroom Classics instaliert.

    Bonjour,

     

    depuis quelques jours mes presets ne fonctionnent plus!
    Dans le module développement, lorsque je déplace le curseur dans ma liste des presets, la photo se modifie. Si je déplace le curseur vers le centre de l'écran, même en ayant choisi un preset (enter sur le nom) la photo revient à sa version originale, les réglages du preset ne sont pas appliqués.

    Bonjour, 

     

    dernière mise à jour éffectuée. Tout à l'air normal. J'importe un dossier photo.
    Je passe au module développement. Je veux appliquer mon preset sur les photos

    mais cela ne fonctionne pas. Pourtant je vois l'aperçu du preset dans la fenêtre 

    dans la miniature en haut à gauche. Auriez-vous une idée??

    Which version of Lightroom Classic and macOS are you using?

    Please try deselecting "Use Graphics Processor" in Lightroom's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Lightroom and let us know if it helps.

    Are you clicking on the presets in the Presets panel, or are you just hovering the mouse over a preset and expecting to see a preview of the preset on the large Loupe image? If so, ensure the option Preferences > Performance > Enable Hover Preview Of Presets In Loupe is checked.

    Hallo, ich habe mir Lightroom classic heruntergeladen.

    Ich kann leider nicht auf die Lightroom Presets zugreifen.

     

    Angezeigt werde die Presets aber das Bild verändert sich nicht.

    Muss ich mir die Presets extra herunterladen?

    Die mitinstallierten Presets sind natürlich kostenlos mit dabei.

    Welche presets versuchst du zu verwenden? Die Entwicklungsregler sonst funktionieren und du siehst die Änderungen sofort?

    Mam problem - Podczas pracy moje presety przestały działać . Kiedy najeżdzam kursorem ustawienia pokzaują się na zdjęciu ale nie można ich załadować . Restart nie pomaga 

    Co może byc przyczyną?

    Help! I updated Lightroom Classic to 12.0.1 and now my presets show up but I cannot apply them

    I will add, I did go in and manually reset lightroom preferences but it made no difference.  Also, Adobe, please put the button back in the presets preferences panel that allows you to do this more easily!

    ich habe folgendes Problem:
    Wenn ich im Entwickeln-Modul auf ein Preset klicke, wird mir nur die Vorschau im Navigator und Hauptfenster angezeigt. Die Einstellungen werden nach dem Klick nicht übernommen.
    Wenn ich über Ad-hoc Entwicklung ein Preset wähle, funktioniert es.
     
    Ich nutze LR 11.4. und einen MacBook Pro M1 mit Monterey 12.4
     
    Ich habe bereits LR deinstalliert, eine ältere Version draufgespielt, neu geupdatet - ohner Erfolg!
    Ich habe andere und neue Kataloge ausprobiert - auch ohne Erfolg.
