Need your help!

When I take pictures with my iPhone 14, they go into "Photos" on my Mac. I export them from "Photos" to my desktop and then import them into Lightroom. Nearly all import properly, but sometimes get this error message below.

I’m using iMac OS 14.2.1 and Lightroom 13.1 .

In a series of photos taken, why (for example) would photos 1, 2, 3, 5 import okay, but not #4?! Frustrating...what to do?

I am seeing this exact same issue. I have tried a number of different export options within the photos app and nothing seems to help. I have an iPhone 15 Plus and Classic 13.1.

LR 13.2 fixed a bug importing JPEGs exported from Mac software. So as a first step, update to LR 13.2 (the latest version).

You may be tripping over an existing bug. To verify, open one of the exported photos on your desktop in the Mac Preview app. Do the menu command Tools > Show Inspector, click on the "i" tab, then the General sub tab. What is shown for Profile Name (at the bottom of the window)?

Depending on profile, there's an easy workaround.
