Hi there,
I bought a Loupedeck. The installation worked on my MBP without problems but on my iMac I get the Information that
Loupedeck needs access to tcp ports 23515 and 23516.
Other process is currently occupying 23515.
First I thought it could be the old VSCO Keys ... deleted that - no change.
Deleted the ShuttlePro Version 2 - no change.
Loupedeck Support is a joke. Why do the have twitter and Facebook and a support forum.
Answer takes days
I am on a MAC with 10.12.6 and LR CC
Any ideas ???
Deinstall LR - install again ???
Best Dirk

Hi Dirk. Loupedeck is a fledgling company and the support is taking place alongside on-going development of the new product. Patience is required I think. I can't help with your problem directly as Loupedeck installed, and works, fine for me. If you need a direct contact at Loupedeck then email in a friendly fashion to Eero Tunkelo at eero.tunkelo@loupedeck.com and you will get a friendly response.

Dear physoc, the Loupedeck guys were really nice an helpful. But it is a really hard problem to solve an it could not be done by Loupedeck ! There must be a solution by Adobe. It is working on my other machine not perfect but quite well ! Looking forward to a software update by Loupedeck.
Regards Dirk

At the Loupedeck website (support) in the FAQ, they mention this (or something like it) and state to reset a corrupt host file (they do not state how):

This can be caused by a corrupted Mac hosts file. Restore hosts files back to original to fix the issue.
I read that but how ???
But I am workin on it 🙂

Used google, found this link: How to Reset/Restore Hosts file to its Original Version in Mac/Windows
incidentaly in my host file, contents is:
##
# Host Database
#
# localhost is used to configure the loopback interface
# when the system is booting. Do not change this entry.
##
127.0.0.1 localhost
255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
::1 localhost

Yes I found that too ! But now sucsess.
Really strange if I am not connected to the internet by LAN - if I use
my iPhone as a hotspot it works.
There is a problem with the networks settings
