Problems with LR Classic and Fujifilm files

Hi

I subscribe to LR Classic and pay a monthly prescription so using the most up to date version but I've been having problems ever since I changed to the Fujifilm system (and about the times of the Windows update which I've read caused some issues with LR too). The system is incredibly slow and completely crashes usually within half an hour of using it and sometimes I can't even shut it down and it crashes my whole PC. I've googled it and there does seem to be an issue with Fuji but not sure what I need to do to fix it.

Any ideas?? I'm on a PC using Windows 10 and shoot in RAW.

LR performance issues are normally about:

OS issues

Driver issues (mostly the GPU)

GPU driver settings

GPU acceleration yes or no

Hardware issues

Hard drive issues

Network issues

LR settings

LR processes in background (typically syncing)

DirectX vs OpenGL (Windows only)

Firewalls

Over aggressive Anti-virus

Display resolution (3K and up)

Please accomplish the following in case something obvious pops up, you never know.

In Lightroom, click on Help, click on System Informstion, click on copy. Paste that into a reply

Yes thank you, thats why I thought it would be worth asking the question to see if anyone else has had the same problem and therefore suggest what I could try to resolve it.

Absolutely nothing to do with Fujifilm

I’ve read online that there are problems in LR with Fuji files on numerous sites but my partner also has an issue when using Fuji, despite being on a different computer.

Fuji X vs LR issues are all about crappy RAF conversion not LR performance, and is subjective. More for pre XTRANS III Images.

Oh, and for the X-T3, prior to LR 8.1 green overcast when applying WB other than as shot (fixed)
