Problems with second monitor while working in Lightroom Classic

Hello all, today I connected a new docking station to my Thinkpad P1 Gen2.

In LR classic, I have the problem now, that my second screen shows up on my Thinkpad instead on the second monitor. It seems that LR identifies my laptop screen as second window screen.

I can drag LR to my second display and the second window in LR is shown on my Thinkpad.

In windows I setup the second display in extend mode.

Any idea what is wrong.

Many Thanks

Hi there,

We are sorry about the experience with Lightroom Classic while trying to use it with a dual monitor setup.

Would you mind sharing the version of Lightroom you are using? The latest version of Lightroom Classic is 9.2. Please go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System Info and if you are using an older version please update the applications to the latest version through the Creative Cloud desktop app.

If you are already on the latest version, please go to the Preferences for Lightroom Classic, then Display and check the settings for the second monitor. Please check: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/whats-new/2020-2.html#otherenhancements

Regards,

Nikunj
