Florent

I don't have sample raws with that particular lens, but for other lenses, the Leica SL2 embeds its own lens profiles in the raw, which LR automatically applies. You can see this in the Lens Corrections panel:

Do you see "Built-in Lens Profile applied"?

Hi!

Thanks for your reply.

I tried on my own and no, I don't have this notification...

Most Leicas, including all the newer ones, embed lens profiles for most lenses in the raws.

I downloaded sample SL2 raws from dpreview.com. LR automatically applies the embedded lens profile for these lenses:

APO-SUMMICRON-SL 1:2/28 ASPH

VARIO-ELMARIT-SL 1:2.8-4/24-90 ASPH

45mm F2.8 DG DN

SUMMILUX-SL 1:1.4/50

But it doesn't apply an embedded lens profile for this lens:

APO-SUMMICRON-SL 1:2/75 ASPH

even though the DNG file appears to contain lens corrections in its metadata.

I suggest you upload a sample DNG taken with the APO-Summicron-SL 1:2/50 ASPH to Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar, and post the sharing link here. I can see if it contains any embedded lens corrections.

This thread in the Leica forum claims that the APO-Summicron lenses don't have embedded lens profiles because they don't need them:

I recommend you contact Leica support and ask if photos taken on the SL2 with the APO-Summicron-SL 1:2/50 ASPH is supposed to have an embedded lens profile that Lightroom applies.

Hello Florent - If you have not done this, go into your preferences > presets tab and select Camera settings in the drop down menu. Tick the checkbox to Override global setting for specific cameras. Then you should see your camera model in the table . Check to see if you have the lens profile after you restart LrC. Hope this is helpful - please let us know!

Hi!

Thanks for your reply.

As you can see with the screens, the settings are the same than what you sy-uggest and the camera model is the good one.

But, on the development side, there is still nothing.

Please be advised that Leica S is a different type of lenses than Leica SL

The strangest thing is to find the correct informations on top left and nothing on the lens corrections side...

regards,

Florent
