Question

Radial Filter should have a square option

No doubt this has been requested, but I can't find it anywhere.

I hope Adobe considers giving us the option on the Radial Filter tool to choose a square/rectangle shape in addition to the round oval shape. This would be so helpful in situations where you want to highlight square areas. Specifically for my needs as a real estate photographer, it would be nice to be able to place a square radial shape around an internal window to be able to draw out the highlights and colors from the outside without affecting the interior lighting. Another example is that I shoot lots of aerial (drone) photos of houses. I would love to be able to draw a rectangle around just the property I am photographing, and turn the rest of the image to B/W and dim it down.

This seems like it would be such an easy modification for Adobe to add!

Thanks.

Chris

Try this: Draw a radial filter around the window, then exclude the interior parts by adding a range mask based on luminosity.

By definition, the radial filter can't be a square or rectangle. That being aid, you're best submitting a feature at Lightroom Classic | Photoshop Family Customer Community
