I have built a 15 000 Euro PC with the best optimized hardware available for Lightroom in the market.
But still, Lightroom keeps crashing. Everytime I send a report to Adobe and never received any reply concerning the crash.
I have read all the possible articles and watched many videos on Youtube about how to optimize Lightroom and followed them, still LIGHTROOM IS SLOW!

It is easy to always lecture about specs and updates, etc... But Adobe really needs to fix this issue of Lightroom and must stop blaming the customers!
I have been using the Adobe CC membership at least for the passed 7 years and there always has been an issue with PremierePro, Photoshop or Lightroom! This costs us time and effort!
Do something about it or you will keep losing precious customers!

@Ramin S

You've been moved to a new thread rather than leaving your post to languish on an old, solved thread.

Regarding the Crashes you've experienced:

We’ve reviewed your email address with this forum and found no crash reports in our system. As this is your subscribed ID, I would expect you to submit your crash reports using it.

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?

The next time you crash using Lightroom, fill out the report and screenshot it. Post the screenshot here.

Note:  any system information, Lightroom information and specifics regarding your "slowness" would help the Community Experts assist you.

Dear Rik
This is problem with Adobe, they never accept the fact that the problem lies at their side and their responsible to offer a decent functional service.
The Adobe team was working remotely in my PC all night long till morning (no exageration) and still the problems is not solved. According to the expert, it is solved. But before LrC was crashing, now after the fix Photoshop is freezing and shortcuts of the tools does strange behaviour and unresponsive.

  • Issue:  Crash/Launch Issues

And yes, I do report all the crashes.
And no, I always use the same email address for the reports.
After reporting 1000 crashes, Adobe never conacted me for a possible solution. You may have a different opinion or defence about this, but accept the fact that this is the experience of a longt term customer.

You wrote only "... Lightroom keeps crashing..." and "...LIGHTROOM IS SLOW!..."

But you haven't given us any information about your system. Therefore, all proposed solutions are a look into the crystal ball.

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. If you have a NVidia graphic card installed, make sure that you are using the recent Studio version of the driver, not the Game Ready version.

Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

What steps do you have done before LR crashes.

What do you mean with Lightroom is slow? On which processes do you mean LR is slow?

Do you get any error messages? If yes please post the exact messages word-by-word?

The more information you give us the better we can try to help.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 23H2 -- LR-Classic 13.4 - Photoshop 25.11 - Nik Collection 7 - PureRAW 4 - Topaz PhotoAI 3

My dear, thank you for your reply.
Everything you have mentioned in your comment, is nothing new. All that information is found online. Please show your expertese on the matter.
Besides, you should know to whom what kind of tips or suggestion you give. I am using PC since 2025 and build my own PC's. On top of that, I have been using Adobe CC membership at least since 2017,
So after endless crashes of LrC, PremierePro, Photoshop,... I know what are the necessary steps to be taken.
That point is: none of them worked, that is why I wrote to the community and I am sure there are other members sharing the same frustration.

If you or interested, you can follow up:
