Redo shortcut stops working
Issue:
ctr-shift-z (redo) stops working after you turn on Second Monitor in Lightroom.
Description:
Right now Lightroom has the following shortcuts available (and we still can't change them but it's a different issue):
ctr-z - undo
ctr-y / ctr-shift-z - redo
Since ctr-y is more difficult to execute (you have to stretch your pinky and index finger across the keyboard), ctr-shift-z is way more practical. Especially in Lightroom when you'd like to quickly switch back and forth between the last editing step.
Think of "\" in Develop mode but not as switching between original and edited photo but switching between the recent changed and the look before them.
Lightroom Develop mode current workflow:
Ctr-shift-z works as redo
You turn on Second Monitor
Ctr-shift-z works as Live Loupe now.
Even if you turn off your Second Monitor the shortcut doesn't revert back to redo function.
Maybe there's some twisted logic behind it but in the end it's perceived as a software bug.
I've already had a quick chat about it with John, author of "Any Shortcut" plugin for Lightroom. It turns out that some places in Lightroom might not be coded correctly and for this reason redo bug can't be circumvented by his external plugin.
Please solve.
Thanks.
