Refining "Has Edits" criteria in Smart collection

I find this filter in smart collections useful, but my issue is with what Lr defines as an edit. I am looking for a filter based on a 2 month timeline on any image I have processed in Lr, but I don't want include any that have just had a new keyword, or rating / colour etc .

If you have done any batch changes to keywords or ratings etc - they all show up as edited. I don't count that as editing , it is admin/management. Is there any way to exclude this annoying criteria in the Has edits (or adjustments)? Many thanks

As you've observed, LR defines "edit" here to mean a change to metadata (e.g. editing a caption) as well as a change to Develop settings.  Unfortunately, it doesn't track changes to Develop settings and other metadata separately.

 

There is a Library Filter criterion "Edit" which matches photos that have had Develop settings changed (including crops), and this won't match photos that have changed metadata but no changed Develop settings.

 

There are also smart-collection criteria "Has Adjustments" (Develop settings changed but not crop) and "Has Edits" (Develop settings or crop changed).  

 

But the filter and smart-collection criteria don't have any associated time of edited.

 

Note that the definition of "Edit" used by Library Filter and smart collections  (changed Develop settings) is different than the "Edit Date" criterion, where "edit" means changed Develop settings or metadata.  Consistent use of terminology is not LR's strong suit and Adobe doesn't really care.
