Hi guys,

What on earth does that  mean?

Thanks a lot,

Raphael

Hmmm... thank you.

Still not clear, back to square one.

With beginners like me, it's useful to use simple, well constructed responses which employ verbs. Telegraphic styles tend to work with more advanced users. Still, I appreciate your time

If I can attempt to make an explanation-

When you [CLICK] on one color you place a 'pin' marker on that color.

You can place several 'pins' (maximum 5 if I am correct?) on more than one color by using [SHIFT+CLICK]. (So you might select red petals and green leaves = 2 'pins')

In version 7.0 you could not selectively remove one 'pin' if more than one were showing. You had to delete the adjustment and start again.

Now in v7.1 you can remove any one 'pin' by using [ALT+CLICK], leaving other 'pins' still in place on selected colors.

And a quote from: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/whats-new-lightroom-classic-october-2017-70/

To use the Color Range Mask, first add a gradient or brush mask, then select Color from the Range Mask pop-up. Select the Color Range Selector (eyedropper) and click on your chosen color in the photo. You can add up to 5 samples. For greater accuracy, click and drag rectangles around the colors you want to adjust.

When you use the Range Mask feature (Grad / Radial / Brush), in 7.0 you could target the adjustment by adding more than one colour sample (using Shift). But you couldn't remove them. That's why in 7.1 there's now the ability to use Alt/Option.

Thank you so much John.

In "couldn't remove them" please define "remove" and "them".

Does it mean one could select more than one color and make them darker all at once? And what does "remove" mean? Remove from what?
