Resetting Lightroom Classic

Somehow over the past several months I managed to mess up where my photo collections are located. Is there a way to reset Lightroom Classic so I can start anew? I have all the original raw files in my camera folder.

Thank you

If you are willing to "Start anew" and prepared to lose any editing done in Lightroom-Classic current messy catalog, simply Start a new Catalog and Import (using 'ADD') for all your photos in the camera folder.

Go Lr MENU: File>New Catalog. or hold down the [CTRL] key as you start Lr-Classic and select the button [Create a new Catalog]

(Later you could delete your old messy catalog!)

And never again touch your Camera files with anything other than Lr-Classic!!!

Some would suggest if many photos are not missing in the old 'Messy' catalog then - Save metadata to files - Select all and [CTRL+S].  Then an Import to the 'New' catalog, or a [Metadata / Read metadata from File] will show the photos with the previous edits.

Thank you. I'll give it a try. Can't mess it up anymore than it is (I think).
