I have an old photo that needs to have some small spots removed. Quite a few actually, I am going to scan the photo. Is there an automated spot removal tool in Lightroom Classic? If not is there such a tool in Photoshop?

Correct answer JP Hess

Lightroom Classic does not have a feature to automatically remove spots. However, when the spot removal tool is activated there is a feature to "visualize spots" that will enable you to more easily see the spots and therefore quickly remove them. Some of the scanning software packages that are available have features that will clean up images as you scan them. One that I have seen highly recommended is Digital Ice. I have never used it, but it seems to be highly regarded by some.

Thanks, I read about the Enhanced Spot Removal feature. I'll give it a try.
