Rotate image shortcut doesn't work...

So that's the problem, I have to go through the menu to rotate the image. Also, in the last 2-3 years many fundamental shortcuts sudenly had stop working for me during a few updates. Is quite anoying. I spent 6 months unable to paste settings with ctrl+shift+v an many more I already forgot, but what I dont forget is how much piss me off this kind of problems on a suscription paid software that with the years add up to an amazing amount of money.

Aparently shortcuts get broke many times for what I see on google from posts dating many years ago, so, wouldnt be better to add a tool to edit the shortcuts by ourselfs, instead of editing config files on lightroom folder? Is an advance editing software, I consider it should be very basic to have a shortcut edit tool builted in, like davinci, or MS Word.

You've raised two separate issues.

1. Some shortcuts can mysteriously stop working. Sometimes it's because another utility is silently grabbing that shortcut (AMD's utility is a culprit) and sometimes it's because of a LR issue.  The first troubleshooting step is to try resetting LR's preferences:
https://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

2. LR has never provided a user interface for customizing keyboard shortcuts. The feature request is one of the most popular on these forums:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-ideas/p-allow-for-keyboard-shortcut-customization/idi-p/12249948

It's marked as "Planned", which Adobe almost never does (but it's been so marked for quite a while).  Please add your constructive opinion to the feature request and be sure to click the Upvote button at the top-right and Follow at the bottom of the first post. That will make it a little more likely that Adobe will consider implementing the feature and you'll be notified when they do.

"wouldn't be better to add a tool to edit the shortcuts by ourselves, instead of editing config files on lightroom folder?"

While waiting for Adobe to implement this, try the Any Shortcut plugin.

ok, I just up voted on the request, hope they implement it soon!

Also, tried to restarted the settings, but it didnt' work. I change the language of LR and now, with the new shortcut it works, but I prefer using LR in english, is easier to find information/tutorials. Anyway, that had remind me that on my language (spanish) they have changed the shortcut for image rotation, and I remember they did it with more things, that btw also is a bit anoying. I probably spent 10 years rotation imagens with something with M, or just M, and one day you sit on the computer to work some project and now is ctrl+alt+c which btw is a very uncomfortable shortcut...

I really hope they implement soon the shortcut edit tool, meanwhile I will give it a try to that plugin you recommend me.

thank you
