Question

S24 DNG overexposed and color-shifted

When I import DNG Android files into LrC on my MacBook Pro (OS Sonoma 14.4.1) it causes a colour & exposure shift - Why?

I'm attaching two files. The first one with the green tinge shows the file after importing into LrC. The second one is how it looks from my Samsung phone into Mac Photos App. I use a Samsung S24 Ultra android phone.

I have a similar problem. Recently started. S23 ultra. Dang files. Expert raw app. They were coming into Lightroom fine. Mobile and web. Now they are coming in green and bright. I attached a screenshot of ones that were working and then everything now going forward. So either Lightroom is processing then wrong now or expert raw changed something and Lightroom is looking at old settings.

Samsung does not create real raw files anymore since early 2023 and they fail to acknowlege it:

It's just a jpg in a DNG container and it shows when editing:

It might be helpful if you could share an example DNG for us to review.

Hi Rikk,

I have tried to send a DNG file but every time I attach it to the "drag & drop or browse files" window I get this error message.

The attachment 20240324_082911.dng content type (image/x-adobe-dng) does not match its file extension and has been removed.

Please advise.

Regards, Brian

You will need to share via Dropbox or similar and then provide a link.
