Search with photos with only #s people

How do I search for photos that have only two or three or five etc..  people in it? It doesn't matter who they are, just need to filter down photos that have X amount of people in them.

You can't do it with built-in features.  But the Data Explorer plugin can do it.

Great! It works but slow with the 40,00> photos I have. Whats an alternative with built-in?

As mentioned before, there is no way to do it with built-in features.  Data Explorer is limited in its speed by how LR makes the catalog available to plugins.
