Question

Shift + P no longer picks-and-advances in ES, IT, and SV

LR 11.4 changed the keyboard shortcut assigned to Photo > Rotate Left in ES, IT, and SV to Shift + P.  This broke the previous assignment of Shift + P, which was to set the pick flag and advance to the next photo.  (P is still assigned to Photo > Set Flag > Pick in those languages.)

So now, Shift + X sets the reject flag and advances, Shift + U unflags and advances, but Shift + P rotates left.

I'm sure this wasn't intentional.

Google translation: "I just updated to the latest version 11.4 and the keyboard shortcut Shift + P that in previous versions was to mark with an indicator and go to the next photo has been changed, now that shortcut rotates the photo to the right, it is me causing serious problems in my workflow 🤦 does anyone know what is the new shortcut for this function? There must be a bug because if you look for it with the help it comes out marked as in the previous version but it doesn't work."

Adobe changed a number of keyboard shortcuts for several languages in the last couple of releases. In LR 11.4, the Photo > Rotate Left command was changed to Shift + P in ES, IT, and SV.  So in those languages, P is still assigned to Photo > Set Flag > Flagged, but Shift + P no longer means "Set the pick flag and advance", it means rotate left.  Clearly that change wasn't thought through carefully.

Meanwhile, you can workaround this, changing the shortcut for rotate left to something else by editing the TranslatedStrings file:

https://www.lightroomqueen.com/custom-keyboard-shortcuts/

Change this line:

"$$$/AgLibrary/Menu/Photo/RotateLeft/Key=Shift+p"

It formerly was Cmd + [, but you can use any shortcut you'd like.
