Slow sync Lightroom Classic CC to Cloud

Hi, is there any problem with my pc or my lightroom?

Because I want to sync around 400 photos to cloud and it take more then 5 or more minutes to sync. My upload speed is around 10 Mbps.

Is there any way to make it sync faster?

Oh this is classic, so it only syncs smart previews not full raw. Those are around the size of the jpegs I noted, so 400 files should take on the order of 26 minutes if you don't count the time needed to create the previews as JohanEL54 notes.

400 raw files, assuming a 24 megapixel camera, will be around 10 gigabyte of data. On a 10 Megabits/second connection that takes  8000 seconds or 2.2 hours to upload (remember 1 byte is 8 bits so 10 Mbps is only 1.25 MB/s so it takes at least 20 seconds per raw file!). If these are jpegs, which are more typically around 5 megabytes a piece, 400 files would take 26 minutes.

Five minutes to sync 400 photos does not seem excessive to me. Remember that Lightroom Classic syncs smart previews, so it also has to generate 400 smart previews in those 5 minutes.

We're sorry to hear about this, What kind of internet connection do you have?

Also, what size files are being synced? What other network traffic is happening at the time?

Also, which exact version of Lightroom Classic CC you're working on and which operating system are you using?

Sorry, I have forgot to mention 5 minute for each photos and it takes forever to sync.
