When I load some of my NEF files from my Nikon Z9, I cannot run Denoise on them.
The following message is displayed in the Denoise box, "Denoise is not currently compatible with this image format!". What might cause this behavior? The files are standard, lossless compressed files, not either of the HE formats.
There seems to be rhyme or reason as to why some files can have denoise run on them and others can't. Older NEF's from my other Nikon bodies seem to be fine.
Problem solved...the common denominator was that the files that generated the error were those that were from a missing folder. I have been in the process of reworking my folder organizational structure and have not relinked all the files to the new location of their folders. LRC had the preview files available to load for editing, but couldn't find the original NEF files to run Denoise on. Works fine on all three Z9 raw file formats!
