Question

Was ist da los? DANKE Anita

Translation to English

I have less memory available in the Lightroom Classic library than my Mac shows.

Catalogs were updated and old ones deleted, all photos were stored on external storage devices.

But Lightroom only shows me 20% free memory, even though 80% is actually free on the Mac.

What's going on? THANK YOU Anita

I do not understand. Where does Lightroom Classic show memory? Please show us a screen capture. Use the "Insert Photos" icon to include your screen capture in your reply. Do NOT attach files.

We had the same problem, but we solved them with creating a folder on desktop , filled this with some images,
then added the folder to the library (not import).

After them the free space will recalculated, we got the right value from disk (decremented by the size of the images)
The we deleted the images inside the folder and synchronized the folder, the free space is recalculated again and added with the space of the deleted images.

Thank you for your answers!

I made an update and got much more free memory space. But it's not all free, shown on the mac memory. I have still 150 GB deletable stuff I don't know where to delete...
