Subject: Macbook Pro early 2015

I have an early 2015 MB with i5 CPU and AMD 6100.. It has been my primary tool for Adobe Lightroom Classic. My station comprises of the Mac connected to my desk monitor and mouse. After several projects now, I've realized my computer is far too slow and laggy during the develop process. Doing simple things like brush stroking when developing is far too laggy and leads me to make small mistakes. Does anyone have rendering issues like this because of their MB? Is it time for an upgrade? I figured this laptop should be just fine for Photo editing. I dont over use the RAM at all.

Sounds like a computer issue, not Lightroom Classic. LrC V 9.4 has been problem free as far as I know.

What is the exact version # of your LrC?

Was the 2105 MBP working ok until recently i.e. before a LrC update/upgrade? If so and turning off the GPU didn't help, you should try going back to an earlier version of LrC.

My computer has been having hardcore battery life issues for a while now. LrC has worked fine for me, I'm conducting a graduation shoot right now and have several files that have consecutively given me slow performance with developement. This rate of lagginess and performance wasnt the case previously with other files and photoshoots. I am running LrC 9.4, have shut off GPU.

You may want to try turning off GPU support:

Thank you, I followed the article's first solution, very simple process. My LrC issue actually didnt fix. I read along for a farther solution, these problems I'm having dont seem to be in that portion. Very odd.
