After I enhanced a foto with superresolution I can not use denoise because of the created file format (compressed DNG) As I take a lot of little birds with my sony A7R5, I crop extensively and the is often to much noise. Is there a way to do both: denoise and super resolution? Or, much I wate for some update? I now use Topaz Phota Ai to denoise after using super resolution in LRC. Great result but a bit complicated.
Thanks! gerard
Neither will work on demosaiced (RGB) linear DNGs, which is what both produce. So no, you can't use them in sequence.
However, Super Resolution will work on fully processed RGB files (psd/tiff/jpeg) - but it won't give quite as good results as on mosaic raw data.
So it appears you need to stick to your current procedure, for now. There is a stated intent to work towards expanding Denoise for other types of data, but no promises have been given yet.

Maybe, sometime in the future, but nobody knows.
At the moment it's not possible because both require mosaic data input, but produce demosaiced data output.
