So no help, huh?

If you open the LrC Preferences>Lightroom Sync tab, what do you see in the activity panel (bottom half of the page)?

This is what is shown.

How big are those two files? If they are larger than 200MB, that might the cause of the problem.

Yeah, that is likely the problem. They are both 400mb+. Ugh. Now to figure out how to resolve that issue.

If they are images that you are syncing FROM Classic to the cloud, they shouldn't cause a file-size problem because Classic only uploads smart previews of the originals, which will likely be no more than 2mb in size. If, OTOH, they are images that have been imported directly into one of the Lightroom apps, then they would upload successfully to the cloud, then sync down into LrC....again no problem. However, if subsequently that image is modified in LrC, and is physically changed on disk (e.g by saving metadata to XMP), LrC will then try to resync that full-size file back to the cloud and it would come unstuck due to the filesize. But IIRC that would produce an error message in LrC and wouldn't result in that gloabl Sync Error state.....so maybe there's something about those files which is causing an issue.
So 2 questions:
1. Are the images being synced FROM LrC, or do they already exist in original form in the cloud?
2. How were those two files created?

Good to hear. I love it when errors fix themselves!
