Sync folder only syncing some photos - Lightroom on macOS

I've created a collection in Lightroom and set it sync.  There are 7 photos in the folder.  When I go to Lightroom Mobile I can see the folder but there are only 3 photos in it.  I've signed in and out, shut down and restarted LR on the desktop, paused sync and unpause, turned off sync on that folder and turned it back on.  I've deleted the collection and created a new collection and moved the images there.  Nothing is resovleing the problem.

I assume from how you describe this that you sync from Lightroom Classic? Check that the other four images are not 'missing'. Lightroom Classic needs to generate smart previews in order to sync them, and it can't do that if it doesn't know where the originals are.

Hi there,

That does not sound right, is it happening with some specific images?

Have you tried removing those images from the catalog and then import them again and add it to the collection to see if they sync then?

Also, could you go into Lightroom's Preferences > Lightroom Sync and check under Sync Activity if you see any errors?

What version of Lightroom and the Operating System are you working with?

Please check this article and see Issue 2: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/lightroom-classic/kb/syncing-with-lightroom-mobile-stuck.html#Issue2LightroomdesktopphotosnotsyncingwithLightroomformobile Let us know if it helps.
