Sync folder path problem

Question

When I sync photos from LR Classic to cloud, it appear in LR CC (or website) without folder tree as I created in collection in LR Classic. For example when I have folder 2017 and put there 2 albums, they are in root folder anyway.

LR Classic path is: "collections/2017/album1"
LR CC path then is: "album1" but should be "2017/album1"

What do I wrong? Thanks.

You aren’t doing anything wrong. That is how it works by design.

Folders in LR Classic reflect your OS structure where you have imported files to be managed in Classic.

Folders in LRCC are simply used for organization within the app and can only be created manually.

There is no sync between folders in LR Classic & LRCC just as keywords do not sync between the two apps.
