Question

syncronize raw photos to adobe cloud with Lightroom classic

I use a lot of the synchronization between Lightroom and Lightroom classic but have encountered a problem with synchronizing high-resolution files to the adobe cloud.

In lightroom classic, I create a collection, add the raw files and choose that the whole thing should be synchronized.
However, only smart previews are synchronized and not the original, which poses problems when I want to work with the images through Lightroom on another computer and also be able to edit them in high resolution in Photoshop on that computer.
Can be fixed so that lightroom classic synchronizes high-resolution files to the cloud?

In  a browser, go into your Lightroom Web  and then drag the files from Finder/Explorer and drop them into the browser window. LR's sync should then recognize that the files are already in your catalogue.

Lightroom Classic only syncs smart previews to the cloud. This cannot be 'fixed', because this is as designed. If you want to have originals in the cloud, then you must use Lightroom (non-Classic) to sync them.
