Question

Tethered shooting

Hello,
maybe someone can give me a little help here?
I know how to do a tethered shoot in Lightroom, but I'd like the resulting images to be stored on
both my computer and the camera's memory card. Is that possible? I can't find any function for it. Thanks very much! Claus

same dilema here but shooting with a memory card slows down lightroom . As previous advice i remove memory card. It will only record on memory card if tranmission to laptop failed.

From memory, this is dependent upon your Camera Manufacturer.

As I recall: Canon can do this and Nikon cannot.

Ok, I work with Nikon. Isn't there a trick? 😉

Yes, I could be wrong but I don't remember any setting to make this happen. I think it does this automatically. I know all I do is start the tether session in LR in the dialogue box that pops up tell it the destination you want the images stored in and start shooting. I have the image on both cards in my camera as well as on the computer I am shooting too. Is this not happening for you?

That doesn't seem to work with Nikon. The images are only stored on the computer.
