Hello everyone,

I am trying to edit a photo to photoshop from Lightroom. But I can't see anymore the pop up menu - "edit original; edit a copy; edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments". It open the photo straight to PS.

After I did some correctionon to the photo, I clicked save and it appered  a pop menu to ask me where I want to save it.

In the past It never  appeaired  before that and one I clicked save the copy with the adjustment was directely visible on LC.

I do have the app updates and I work on a MAC-PRO 2023.

How can I fix this?

Thank you so much,

Fede

Sounds more like you selected Save As, not Save, not Close.

Then why I was able to do so before and now not?

Many years ago.

Do you have one you recently accomplished that on where the "edit original; edit a copy; edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments". option appeared? If so, verify the file in LrC you selected.

That pop-up menu will only show if you send an RGB file (tiff, psd, jpeg) from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop, not if you send a raw file.

If Photoshop says "could not save because write was access was not granted", then that either means that you try to save the image in a location that is off limits for Photoshop, or that you need to give Photoshop 'Full Disk Access' in MacOS System Settings - Privacy & Security'.

Thank you for your reply.

Until last week it was working fine in the old pc, and the pop up window was alsways showing too "edit original; edit a copy; edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments".of the adjusted  photo on Lightroom. I have already  given a 'Full Disk Access'. Still not working. Not sure what is the problem.

For this "I am trying to edit a photo to photoshop from Lightroom" I meant that the photo is been edited already in Lightrrom but I need to just do some little retouching in Ps. So when I do right click (on the photo on LC ) and 'edit in" Photoshop It doesn't appear anymore.

Also, the first time I clicked save on PS it appeared a pop windon saying "could not save as "2233321-edit.tif" because write was access was not granted". What does it mean?
