Sorry for the typos. Trying again

Can I retrieve User Presets (Develop Presets) from a Mac TimeMachine backup? I had an  older  2017 mac and just bought a new one. I opted to do a clean install amd just need my presets. Please. Can anyone help.

It depends on which version of Lightroom you are using. Your post was moved to the 'Lightroom ecosystem' forum, but it sounds like that may still be the wrong forum. If you really use Lightroom, then there is no need to retrieve anything from a Time Machine backup. Your presets are all in the cloud, so logging into your account on your new computer is all you need to do.

If you use Lightroom Classic however (and it does sound that way), then your presets are stored locally and can indeed be restored on the new computer from a Time Machine backup of the old one. Here's the location of them: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/lightroom-classic-file-locations/

So did you find those presets in your TM backup or didn't you?

Nope
