Tips on dealing with vibrant red-pink sky

Hi,

 

Does any know how to deal with (or get the best out of) vibrant red-pink colours? The blob of red-pink just above the buildings sticks out like a sore thumb with no graduation in colours. thanks

yone know how to get the best out of vibrant red-pink colours such as sky?

was/is your White Balance in camera set odd?

dont think so, the only 2 wb settings where there was a nice graduation of colour or tone was shade (too warm overall) or fluorescent (too cold overall)

Looks fine to me as is.

 

You'll have to clarify what you mean by "get the best out of" it.

vibrant reds are known to be one of, if not the hardest for camera to record properly. I was asking if theres a way lightroom can recover or display to the best of its ability how the reds would of looked like when the photo was taken

Create a sky mask, then use things like Point Color, or slightly lower the Saturation. You can also play with individual color curves.
