Question

Two monitors - #1 shows black while #2 displays selected image

I've run for years using LR with two monitors.  Only recently has #1 shown only black in the view window when a pic is selected.  This is in edit and library.  #2 works as normal.  This has occurred only in the past few days.

    Dean: Are both monitors the same and which is set to be the primary monitor for the software interface?

    We need more infos for trying to help.

    Which operating system do you use?

    Which version of Lightroom do you use?

    What has been changed on you system before the error occur?

    Two steps you can try first:

    1. Switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.  Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.
      Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ
    2. Reset the Lightroom preferences -> https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

    My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 9 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI
