unable open RAW files with Nikon D850

Is unable open RAW files when I'm shooting photos in Live view/slow motion with Nikon D850, anyone knows something like that, I'm using version 8.2 of Lightroom Classic

When you're importing images into Lightroom, do they even show in Import dialogue box?

This what I'm getting, the other files from the card are imported well, I mean the files I've took as a photo. The photos when I shot in live view/slow motion are the problem

Curious!

I have been watching this thread.

I would really like to know what "Live view/slow motion" is! (not a D850 owner )

I would have thought this to be a HD movie file (.MOV) or similar, and not a raw .NEF

Perhaps the Import dialog means something different- eg. it has been known that Lightroom has, in the past, had trouble importing files when video files exist in the same folder.


The files on his list look like standard D850 .nefs. I went through my D850 files thinking something was wrong with the file name starting with an underscore, but some of my D850 nefs that haven't been renamed have that name format.

I've never had any issue importing any D850 files into LR, including V 8.2

IMissionaryNetwork, have you considered that these files are corrupt for some reason?

How are you getting images from camera to computer?

If you're using Nikon software, try eliminating it from your workflow. Use a card reader.
