When you're importing images into Lightroom, do they even show in Import dialogue box?

This what I'm getting, the other files from the card are imported well, I mean the files I've took as a photo. The photos when I shot in live view/slow motion are the problem

Ok guys, try do this on D850, go to:

Movie Shooting menu

Frame size/frame rate 1920x1080; 30p x4 (slow-mo)

liveview video mode and take a photo

import  photo into Lightroom

if Lightroom can read the file, please let me know what you did

Correction:  I missed being in MOVIE mode. The .nefs taken in Movie Mode 1920x1080p 30 x4 cannot be read by LR or ACR. However, the .nefs taken with the D850 in 1920x1080p 30 (not slo mo) open just fine.

Interestingly, the D850 .nefs taken with the camera set to Move Mode, 1920x1080p 30 x4 can be opened and displayed in Raw Digger. The raw histogram can be displayed and what looks like the full metadata is there.

This Adobe Family Fourm for Lightroom would be a good place to list this issue as a possible bug.

How are you getting images from camera to computer?

If you're using Nikon software, try eliminating it from your workflow. Use a card reader.
