Hi there, I just upgraded to new iPhone 11 pro, and since the other day I was importing photos from my iPhone to Lightroom Version 5.7.1 When I clicked the import button (my iPhone is turned on ,connected to my Mac OS Catalina 10.15.6 usb) the source is not detected at all.
I used to have the iPhone 6 and I have no problem at all to import photos to Lightroom, what could the problem be? Look forward to hearing from anyone who have similar problem, Many thanks,

Hi there,
Sorry that Lightroom 5.7.1 is not able to import images from the Apple iPhone 5.7.1 on your Mac running the macOS 10.15.6
The Apple iPhone 11 Pro was first supported in Lightroom Classic 9.0 . Please check the supported list of camera's and minimum version of Lightroom required here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
In order to view images from the Apple iPhone 11 Pro, please upgrade to a latest version of Lightroom Classic or use the DNG converter. For more details, see https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/why-is-my-camera-not-supported.html
Thanks,

I suspect Akash is referring to Lightroom mobile support for raw files. Either way, you'll need to provide more details on the error message displayed.
BTW, if your iPhone 11 is configured to cature photos in the new Apple default HEIC format, then Lr 5.7.1 won't be read them (i.e. unspoorted format). However, it's realtively esy to reconfigure the phone to capture photos as JPREG, which Lr 5.7.1 does support. This link may help with were to find the setting to change (see section header
