Normally this happens when a company or school provides the computer and operating system and has placed restrictions on what software can be installed. So, do exactly what the message says — please contact your administrator.

In my case I am a single user so I am the administrator, but I am also getting this message. There are no restrictions on my computer.

Ok, thank you for the information. I do not know enough about MAC computer to help further. Other people will probably jump in who do know.
