Upgrade to Classic - Error on startup (LoadLibrary failed with error 1114)

Just upgraded to Classic and, after installation, I am unable to achieve startup.  The error message received is:

LoadLibrary failed on error 1114.  A dynamic link library (DLL) initialisation routine failed.

Any ideas as to how I can remedy this?

Correct answer AxelMatt

Try to deactivate the GPU support. Take a look here:  Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ

Scroll down in the document to "Solution 2"

Here it's a post to the same issue: Error 1114 on update to Lightroom CC Classic

Axel,

many thanks.  The useAutoBahn was set to false (per solution 2).  It turned out that the answer was in Solution 3 (which I had tried based on FAQ responses, but not properly).  It appears to be working ok now, albeit that the library view doesn't properly show the previews.  Something else for me to look at.

Thanks again.

Are your drivers, especially for the graphic card up-to-date?

Try to recreate the previews.
