User presets not showing in the presets panel

Since very recently possibly the last update, I can no longer see the User presets. I can see the presets in the finder folder but they will not show up in my export templates within LRC. I did not check the "save presets with catalog" box in LRC prefs.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Ok, a small experiment to accomplish. This to show where user created presets get placed.

     

    • In LrC, select a photo, accomplish some edits.
    • In the Develop tab, select New Preset
    • Give a name, perhaps UserTest
    • Create the preset
    • This should create an xmp file
    • Try editing a different photo, and see if that preset shows up (I do not think a restart is needed)
    • Use that preset to see what happens
    • In LrC /preferences/presets, in the Location section, click on "Show Lightroom Develop Presets"

     

    Now as for older .lrtemplate presets. I am trying to remember if you just place them in that folder, restart LrC, and LrC converts them, or you need to import.

    Thank you for your interest. Updating to the lastes version of LRC solved the problem, I did start another thread since this one was already marked solved. Thank you!

    I see that I can be confusing myself, and I may be attempting to (poorly) answer the wrong question.

    I have included a screenshot to assist in asking. Develop Presets, or Profile Presets?

    GoldingD, I did not clarify I am not talking about export presets but profile presets.

    Ah, then the folder you were showing in your first screenshot is the wrong location. Not sure if it would be the Color Profiles folder, or (less likely) the Develop Presets folder (fairly sure that is not it), or is this a Camera RAW issue/folder?

    Not a user of home built ones, or even third party profile presets, so may have to experiment to confirm.
