Hi there,

I can't seem to import my RAW files with Lightroom CS?  I would prefer not to use CC and wonder if there's an update for users like me coming, and if there is one already, a link to it please!!

There is no Lightroom CS, so I guess you have an older version like for instance Lightroom 5 or 6.

And there is no Lightroom CC either, the current version is called Lightroom Classic, available only by subscription.

What version are you running now?  Help > About Lightroom.

And what camera do the raw files come from?

I have an older version that I don't pay subscriptions to every month, but paid once for LR.  It's Lightroom CS Version 6.14 Perpetual

camera is Sony A7rivA

The A7R IV requires at least Lightroom Classic 8.4.1, so you'll need to subscribe to the Photography Plan to import the raw files. It includes Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, and costs USD 10 (or equivalent) a month.

Alternatively, you can use the free Adobe DNG converter, to create DNG versions of your raw files that can be imported in Lightroom 6.14.

Which exact version of Lightroom do you have installed? There's no Lightroom CS version.

From which type of camera (manufactur and model) are the RAW files from that you try to import?

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 5 - Topaz Photo
