I have been revisiting previously imported RAW images that have been edited and created DNG Denoised images. I have been deleting the DNG and using the Auto Sync process to apply Denoise to a batch if the Raw images.

I there a recommended procedure carry out this function. Presently I am just applying the Denoise with the previous edits in place.

Adobe recommends using Denoise before any other editing, including masking.

I have no experience with this, but if you create a virtual copy before removing the edits, you could copy and paste them back to the original after running Denoise.
