Waiting for connection

Running OS X 10.13.6 and Lightroom Classic CC 7.4 and have had this message "Waiting for connection" for a number of days. Any help would be appreciated?

I have signed out, then closed Lightroom and signed in again without any success.

Thanks for helping us with the screenshot Trevor. Please take a look at the suggestions mentioned in this article Lightroom CC keeps waiting for connection and does not synchronize pictures and let us know if that helps.

Sorry that you're getting an error message "waiting for connection" while using Lightroom Classic CC 7.4

Could you please let us know when exactly are you getting this error message? If you're seeing this while attempting to sync images, take a look at the suggestions mentioned in this discussion LR 7.2 -waiting for connection and let us know if that helps.

I have no sync activities to run. The message is displayed all the time that I have Lightroom open.
