Watermark not being applied on export in Lightroom Classic

Hi all. Lately when I export my photos to my external drive the watermark isn't showing up on the exported file. I've made no changes to anything or updated the system and the watermark box is always checked. I'm baffled and frustrated. This was always a nice, simple operation so I don't know where to begin to correct it
