"Hello Adobe Community,
I'm curious about the differences between Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. Both software titles seem to offer similar features, but I'm unsure about their distinctions. Could someone please clarify?
Thank you!"

A gazillion internet articles go into depth on this issue.
The primary difference is that Lightroom will store your photos in the cloud*, and you can access them and edit them via any device with internet capability. Lightroom Classic stores your photo on a local disk, and your photos cannot be stored in the cloud; Lightroom Classic also has features such as user-provided keywords, which Lightroom does not.
* Just recently Lightroom was given the capability of working with photos that exist only on your local hard disk, and are not stored in the cloud.
