Question

When I press 'auto edit' in Lightroom Classic library or develop, certain photo's are replaced!

When I do the above certain photo's (not all) are replaced completely by a different photo from the same folder, almost like I pressed 'paste' - Any know why, and how I can stop this? KR

Quit Lightroom, open your catalog folder and delete 'catalogname helper.lrdata'. Then start Lightroom again. Does that solve it?

If not, then try resetting the preferences: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

It is possible for example that the folder is sorted by date-time of editing? In that case anything you do to images may change the order in which they are displayed.

Separately, also, if your folder is filtered in some relevant way,: operations you do may cause certain images to hide themselves from view temporarily. In the event the current active displayed image must now hide itself, a different image must take over that role.

Hi Richard - tried different sortation methods (time/date, added etc). Nothing going there. It is acting like I have genuinely pasted a different picture straight over the original. Also, no filters applied. Really not feeling this is user error in anyway. Completely feels like a bug. Proving very frustrating as I am losing track of which images have been replaced. @adobesupport please step in.
