where are renamed presets?

Hello everyone

I renamed some of the LR develop presets I created, and although they still appear in the Favourites, they are not listed in the User Presets section. If I need to worry about them being in the User Presets section, how do I get them back into there? My concern is not to lose them should I need to reinstall LR or MacOS.

MacOS and latest LR

Thanks!

John

If they appear in your favorites, then they must be in one of the groups too. Favorites is just like a playlist, it's not a storage location. If they are not in 'User presets', but then they must be in another group. BTW, this is where Lightroom Classic stores its files, in case you need to move them to another computer. The group location is stored in the preset however, so the location on disk does not have to match that:

Thanks Johan

That is exactly what I thought, but am concerned because I can find the presets which I did not rename, but cannot find the ones I renamed.

I'll just plug along and hope for the best should I need to reinstall everything! Thank you

John
