Where do I find updated camera lens profiles and how do I update in Lightroom Classic?

I'm usding the Lens panel in Lightroom Classic to clear up chormatic aberrations and fringing. Under the menu Profile it only has less than a dozen older Canon lenses and nothing of the newer RF models. I think I must be missing profiles but I don't know how to find the profiles, do they need to be dowloaded or shouldn't they be already included in Lightroom? I have the latest version. How do I bring in the newer profiles so they will show and can be used?

"Under the menu Profile it only has less than a dozen older Canon lenses and nothing of the newer RF models."

Most likely, you're editing a non-raw (e.g. a JPEG). Most lens profiles only work with raws. You can see the full list of supported lens profiles and whether they support non-raws here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html

Only 14 Canon profiles support JPEG (all Canon EF).

"do they need to be dowloaded or shouldn't they be already included in Lightroom?"

All Adobe-supplied lens profiles are automatically included in LR.

Extremely good and complete reply. Yes, it was an edited version of the original RAW image which explains. Thank you for the expert help.
