Where is LR Classic catalog stored?

in windows what is the default file location for the lightroom classic "catalog".   I want to "import from another catalog."

The default location is a Lightroom folder inside of the Pictures folder. But the catalog can be in any folder of your choosing.

To Import from Another Catalog:

1. Choose File > Import From Another Catalog.
2. Navigate to the catalog you want to import and click Open (Windows) or Choose (Mac OS).

The catalog you are importing from can be located on any local hard drive (internal or external).

It being on a network drive probably will not work.
