Hello dear people,

when I go through the images in Lightroom and zoom in once, the white balance changes forever. Is this a known problem and if so, how did you solve it? See photo, the settings are 100% the same.

i use mac m1, sonoma 14.6.1

Hey, @EA9. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic community. I'll clarify this for you.

When you zoom in at 100% or higher, the raw image is loaded, and you see the actual unprocessed image. The values for Temperature & Tone don't change when you zoom in.

Try this:

  • With a small batch of images.
  • In the Library module > On top menu > Library > Preview > Build 1:1 previews

1:1 previews are larger in size and heavy in day-to-day usage compared to Standard size previews. Render 1:1 previews intentionally when you need them.

This should help. Let me know if it does.

Thanks!
