Question

White Text, White Background

Since upgrading to the latest version of LRC, 95% of the drop down menus are white text on a white beackground. I am having great difficulty reading them. Previously the text was either dark grey or black.

Anyone know how to solve this? I've looked for preferences, but cannot read it due to the above.

Thanks in advance Ian

In a first step try is to reset the preferences to the default settings.

  • Reset Procedure:
  • Close Lightroom.
  • Windows: Hold down [Alt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
  • Mac: Hold down [Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.
  • Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
  • Close Lightroom.
  • Restart Lightroom.

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

If this doesn't help please try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Thanks for your helpful information. However, before trying it out I launched LRC again and the drop down menus have reverted to normal. Bizarre, I cannot understand what went wrong in the first place. Very grateful anyhow.
