Lightroom 5.7.1 cannot read the raw images from a Canon 6D Mark II. You need to upgrade to (purchase) Lightroom 6.12 or Lightroom Classic CC. Otherwise, you can use the FREE Adobe DNG converter to convert the RAWs to DNG and import the DNGs into Lightroom 5.7.1.

I am currently trialling LR5.3. I am unable to import RAW files from my new Olympus OM-D-E-M1 (.orf files). Although the camera is on your compatibility list, there is clearly a problem - the software is up to date but I get the following error:

Is it a limitation of the trial version?

Obviously I need to understand what is going on before I make a purchase decision
